Space Marine Armor Types

A squad of Space Marines made up of various types of Power Armor. From left to right we have, MK I Thunder Armor, MK II Crusade Armor, MK III Iron Armor, MK IV Maximus Armor, MK V Heresy Armor, and two suits of MK VII Aquila Armor.

The older sculpts are still rather nice, and hold up well to todays plastic sculpts, one minor problem is GW supply the set with modern plastic arms and backpacks. These sculpts werent designed with the newer plastics in mind, so there are some size and fitting issues, mainly with the MK I and MK IV armors.

Wolf Scouts

Space Marine Scouts with heads from the Space Wolf set. These are for my post apoc project, though I decided to paint them to match with the Iron Snake Marines I painted a while back. Just wish I'd noticed the plasma pistol arm before I built the Sgt.....

Some more Eschers

Two more miniatures for the Escher gang Im building, one Juve and a new Leader. The Juve is an old GW miniature from when they had the 2000AD license, I believe she was meant to represent one of the female Rogue Troopers. The Leader is a new addition to Hasslefree's space pirate range and is a welcome addition to the Escher's .

I think I may have a bit of a problem....

I think I may have a little bit of a Resident Evil addiction...I think the first sign was when I bought a Gamecube just to get hold of RE Zero, the remake of RE1 and RE4 rather than wait seven months for it to appear on PS2. Not shown is my dodgey copy of RE3 Nemesis and RE Outbreak File 2 which has gone AWOL.

Still with RE Revelations (went and bought a 3DS for this), Operation Raccoon City and RE 6 out this year, its a good time to be a Resi fan.

Space Elf Trader

A limited run miniature from a fellow on the FrothersUnite forum. Designed to add to the original Rouge Trader miniatures.

Orks with a difference!

Ive always liked Space Orks, though Ive always liked the old Rogue Trader/2nd Edition ones better then the current releases, but thats another matter. However Ive never liked the green paint jobs, why do Orks have to be green? Cant they be a differnt colour?

So after a while thinking of suitable miniatures for mutants to include in my post apoc project, I stumbled across a fellow on the LAF forums selling Black Reach Orks cheap. And after about two weeks work, here is a small force of flesh coloured Orks that I hope dont look quite as laughable as thier green skinned counterparts.

Ganger from Trollforged

Trollforged resin not-Escher ganger. A real nice mini to paint, but a bit of a pain to put together, I didnt bother to attach her ponytail or extra sword. Not that she needs either.

Chicks with guns

Some more for the Domme Squad.

Decided to make a start on my Escher gangers the other week. Ten down, nineteen to go. Not all of my gang are made up from GW models, Ive managed to source Hasslefree, Urban Mammoth, Trollforged and some unknown manufacturer, though those in the picture are all GW save for one.
