Alternative Armies 6mm Armored Force (Terran Alliance)

For the last few years I have had a sci-fi setting running around in my head that I really need to get down on paper. I have painted up some forces for this setting in the past, mostly space ships. But I fell in love with the 6mm ranges that Alternative Armies put out. I thought the Xarka range would be a good fit for the Terran Alliance.

Made a casualty figure from spare parts. Something about this guy reminds me of the quirky days of Rogue Trader.

Skull Squad - Leftover Space Marines

 Had a spare sprue of Space Marines in the sprue pile of shame, decided to do a few simple head swaps and the odd arm swap. 

Whole Host of Kitbashes

 As the title says, a whole bunch of kitbashes, made up of Stargrave, Wargames Foundry Agents & Convicts parts, Bolt Action German & Soviet parts, some western, a few GW bits and finally some old Warzone plastics. There is also a Colony 87 scientist hanging out in the last image.

 Old school style metal minis that are clearly not Space Marines from Alternative Armies.

Bad Santa

Another xmas themed miniature I wanted to get painte dover the holidays, but real life delayed it until Feb. A fairly nice metal mini from Ral Partha.

Festive Captive

 A bit late for xmas, freebie miniature that Weprintminiatures gave away in December. She took a tumble off my desk and snapped at the ankles, required a bit of repairing after that.

Random Conversions

 Knocked together a bunch of minoiatures using parts from Warhammer, Stargrave, Frostgrave and Bolt Action. I think they came out quite nicely.

 Tyranid creature I got with one of those Warhammer monthly magazines that keep showing up in supermarkets.

 Two criminal androids out to cause trouble for cops with tanks.
