Its been a while since I posted anything, though Ive had a few miniatures on my desk I just couldnt get around to finishing them, I blame a heavy dose of Metal Gear Solid HD, Lollipop Chainsaw and a bout of depression from work wanting me to go to China for 2 months (noooooooooooooooo!).
Anyhow I got quite a few finished thise week and first up is these skinny undead for my HeroQuest project. They come from the old Parker's Dungeon and Dragons board game (which is based on HeroQuest so will need to get a copy of that sometime) and are slightly softer plastic than what Im used to from say GW or Mantic, not very well detailed and kind of a pain to paint, though they will do for gaming with.
Nice! I've painted these myself, and I'm also using them for HeroQuest :D
ReplyDeleteD&D actually has many mini's that are well suited for HQ games. I've bought a copy of the original HQ game, and added the D&D mini's, using the skeletons, ghosts, wights, heroes (Lidda makes a great female elf, and the male knights make a great Sir Ragnar) etc. I also painted the goblins blue, to substitute as the rare ice gremlins from the Barbarian Quest pack, and the bugbears painted white as polar warbears.
I'm also keeping a HQ blog here: http://yeoldeinn-heroquest.blogspot.nl/
Go check it out ;)
