Close Combat Squad
Another squad for one of my plattoons, nothing really special here, used some of the last parts to my command set, and used only bayonet weapons. No heavy weapon this time, and in the back you can just make out the RT trooper from my last update.

More Guardsmen
I painted up the last of my Tanith Guardsmen, though I cant finish the squad as I seem to have lost Guants power sword and Rocket Girl's (from the Last Chancer's) rocket launcher....
I also finished up a plasma gunner (pity the Guard cant take Plasma cannons) and an old Rogue Trader trooper Ive had for a few years.

Regimental Advisor's : BodyGuards
It took me a while to get these two painted up. I seem to have lost all painting momentum, though Im still happily building new Guardsmen (Ive actually began to run out of arms...) and have two new squads ready for paint...tho I still have half the Tanith to paint up...urgh...
On lighter news I hit the big three zero on thursday, Im no longer a twenty something, dear God, Im getting closer to being middle aged...

Regimental Advisor's
I love these miniatures, they have to be the best sculpt's in the new IG line, though it really get's on my nerve that the brick and mortar stores will only sell them to you if you use thier online ordering system...what's the point in that?
Anyhow I only have two bodyguards to paint up and that's my command squad fully finished...unless I add a Techpreist and some Servitor's...hmmmm..

Iron Snakes Squad
I picked up a 5 man squad the other week and decided to have a go at a small Space Marine force. I've never been one for the garish red, blues or greens of some of the "big name" chapters, but when reading through a few pages I found the Iron Snakes, well a paint scheme so easy, I had to give it a shot.

Gunnery Sergeant Harker
Another miniature stripped down and repainted. The first time I painted him was for the Bell of Lost Souls Macharian Crusade source book, he even appears on a page.
Anyhow, I decided to dig him out the other day when I was reading through the IG Codex and decided to take another special character (my second of three).
Of course after finishing him, I discover GW have released an official Harker model (along with a new Stracken).

Mean Machine Angel
One of Judge Dread's old Cursed Earth foes. I think this rather hefty chunk of metal is produced by Foundry, cant be sure tho as I got him for cheap of a guy at the LAF forums http://www.lead-adventure.de/ .
Had him painted in roughly two hours and based the next day. Think I'll use him as part of my sci-fi salvager crew.

War Droid
I made an order with Ground Zero Games, and I think Ive learned my lesson to never buy from a site that doesnt display pictures. Of all the stuff I bought only two things where useable, one of them was this "Land Mate". Now when I think of Land Mates, I think of the manga AppleSeed and the mecha within that. like so...

Trixie
http://www.ramshacklegames.co.uk/ off a free promo miniature for thier Nuclear Renaissance game setting. The miniature itself is a lovely sculpt, but due to it being a freebie they used cheap resin, as a result it had a lot of trapped air within it when it was cast, I didnt relise the extent of the damage until I began painting her. Her nose is missing... still for free its hard to complain.

Pépée F. Space Marine/Ranger
A limited edition resin mini from Maow Miniatures, (045/200) I think they are a french company but I'm not sure.
This is the first time Ive painted resin, and to be honest I found it a pain, I washed the mini first before spraying, but found several problems painting her, especially with flesh colours (I normally struggle with skin) the paint seemed to dry to quickly and flake, creating a bit of a mess.
On hindsight I really should have painted her in blue vault suit rather than yellow, oh well.
Avengers Assemble!!
Captain America (I always prefer Captain Britain) and Iron Man of (if you didn't know) the Avengers. Two HeroClix miniatures i picked up yesterday. I think the Iron Man is a promo piece as he was in a one pack and didn't require any repainting. The ones I bought in the two pack boosters are just horrendous and need repainting (In the case of the TaskMaster, stripping first).

Middlesbrough Games Store no more.
I stopped by my FLGS today to try and offload a whole bunch of old rule books and pick up some paint and some new mini's only to find myself in a barren store full of boxes as the owner was having his closing down sale. 50% off everything, great, not much left though, I walked out with a ton of heroclixs for repainting (not many turned out to be worth it) and got my car clamped for my troubles...
Looks like now Im stuck with Games Workshop and the internet for my miniaturing needs...Its a shame really.

Anipuma and Unipuma
I found these two while trawling through eBay and was quite surprised to find sculpts of the two catgirl androids from the old anime and manga Dominion Tank Police (Second anime I ever bought back in 1993). As it was an old faveorite of mine I just had to have them. They are produced by Denizen miniatures and are 25mm scale with cast hexognal bases, so they are a lot smaller than what Im used to.
For the colours I found this great cosplay photo and I was amazed at how much they had was actually on the mini's.
