Conan Miniatures

Some more Conan miniatures, the Spartan (who was added in as a Kickstarter exclusive), another Valeria, Gitara (whose miniature looks nothing like the art, so I ended up painting her blonde instead of black haired) and Hadratus.

Conan and Friends

I have been sat on Monoliths Conan board game and miniatures since the Kickstarter way back in 2015/16. I finally decied to get around to painting some miniatures. Starting with Taramis, Valeria, Conan himself and a Vanir valkyrie thats not Red Sonja for legal reasons.

Lucid Eye Amazon's (with Tarzan)

Amazon warriors from Lucid Eye, with Tarzan along for the ride. Not sure why they are all blonde, other than I couldn't be bothered painting them separate colors, ah laziness my old friend.

Reaper Barbarians

You cant go wrong with Reaper Miniatures for fantasy themed stuff. The three female barbarians are older sculpts and are now a budget 3 pack, to be fair, only the fur bikini is worthwhile out of the set. The male barbarians are clear cut Conan clones, though the chap in the middle is fairly spiky.
I painted fur bikini up to resemble Red Sonja from "Blue" and "Unchained" written by Peter V Brett, my current favorite new author.
The barbarian horde as it currently stands.

Guernica Strongsword

This is a rather ancient Citadel Miniature from the mid 80's, part of the Barbarian range. The camera I used was the crappy works one, rather than my usual Samsung, so the picture is a little darker than usual, though on looking at it, I think I need to go back and repaint the furs a lighter shade...

Goldar, Reaper Bones

Another addition to the Savage Horde (TM), this time from Reapers plastic Bones line, cant say Im to happy with the medium, it being that cheap bendy plastic, but the price cant be ignored.

Ral Partha Barbarian

An old Dungeons and Dragons miniature from Ral Partha I've had sitting around a few years. I decided to give her a lick of paint and add her to the Barbarian horde I've been slowly growing.

Some Random Fantasy

Some rather old fantasy miniatures today, one old Heroquest skeleton (still got a few of these to paint up), and a Red Sonja-like chain-mail bikini wearing barbarian from Ground Zero Games sculpted by (I believe) Kev White long before he started Hasslefree.

Wolf with slavegirls

I figured my barbarian warband/horde required a suitable leader, and Hasslefree's Wolf with "fans" seemed to fit the bill quite nicely, as the majority of my savages are from Hasslefree.
I wasn't to sure of the lighter pale skin tone on the second slave girl, but after giving her red hair I really think it works quite well.
Its good to be the chief.

Hasslefree Barbarians

Some more barbarians for the horde, this time supplied by Hasslefree exclusively. The lass with the axe is a rework of the Frothers charity miniature "Sasha" from last year. I'm quite happy with the way the skin tones have turned out, however currently the females outnumber the males in the horde, I'm not sure if Conan would approve or not.

Barbarian Horde...kinda

I've decided to increase my Conan project into a full blown war band after getting a few more miniatures from Hasslefree, and painting up the old Heroquest Barbarian. So joining Red Sonja and Conan, is a gender shifted He-Man, an axe wielding damsel saver, and a bendy sword barbarian.

4A Miniatures Barbarian

A new addition to the small but growing Barbarian Horde!! Produced by 4A Miniatures, it fits neatly with Hasslefree barbarians.

Raider

A very old Chaos Thug for my post apoc raider warband armed with a bow and quiver of arrows on his back, and what looks like a pair of flintlocks at his waist. A nice old school chunky model.

Enjoy.

Red Sonja 2

Apologies for the crap photo yet again, still no sign of getting my photo room back. Anyhow, another chainmail bikini clad warrior woman.

Belit

Belit, known as "the Queen of the Black Coast," was a pirate queen and commander of a ship called the Tigress. She was a fierce warrior and the equal of any man in combat, and her crew was intensely loyal to her. They plundered many ships and villages, which resulted in a fearsome reputation. Belit eventually encountered Conan the Cimmerian and fell in love with him. Together they continued pirating until she was slain by a winged monster. Even then, Belit briefly came back from the dead to aid Conan, fulfilling her vow to save his life.

Red Sonja

Red Sonja (produced by Hasslefree) weilding a big axe and clad in her signature chainmail bikini, with a fur cloak to keep her warm. As a fan of Big Red I had to buy this, just a shame its took me so long to get her painted.

Valeria (Sasha, Frothers 2012 charity mini)

This was a charity miniature given away with donations to cancer research on the Frothers message board. I figured she would be a good match for Conan's blonde companion in Red Nails, Valeria, of course after I painted her I read Red Nails and found shes supposed to be wearing short silk pants and a red sash, well...maybe she went shopping after Red Nails...

Livingstone

One very old miniature (1984) I managed to aquire a few weeks ago in remarkable condition. Painted him up to use as a wasteland nutjob for post apoc gaming, but he is also useable for fantasy games.
Im real happy with the way he turned out.

Turns out Ive already painted Griselda (6), and have Wolfhead (3), Agaroth the Unwashed (7) and Ogbash Facesplitter (8) sat in the lead mountain, almost but not quite a full set.
