Zombies

 Some zombies made up from mixing Stargraves Merc 1 and Scavengers 1 & 2 boxes. I kinda like the way the green flesh turned out.

Undead Horde

 Been working on these undead infantry blocks for that last few weeks. Skeletons and zombies from Mantic. Cheap and cheerful models, but there are issues, the skele's don't fit together very well, and the zombies limb joints are fairly weak, which has resulted in a few one armed zombies.

So, this came today

 A mysterious box, with strange mysterious markings...Zombicide?.?...Hey I remember this, its that kickstarter I backed last July!

 Opening the box and we reveal, the back of smaller boxes. Actually these are the paid for Kickstarter exclusives, Audrey (The Big Bang Theories Amy), Curro (Scarface), Nikki (TBBT's Penny), Benny (Sly Stallone), Oksana (RE's Alice), Patrick (TBBT's Leonard), Kris (Val Kilmer in Heat), and Miss Trish (TBBT's Bernie).

 More goodies! A dice tower, purple stat card holder, a dice bag, the Lost Zombivor's set and VIP Zombies set #1.

And finally, the infection level award, another set of Rue Morgue and Angry Neighbour zombies, a female abomination, barricades, crows, more VIP zombies, including Elvis, Santa, and slave Leia zombies...erm...ok.. And last of all, even more survivors and their Zombivors. Yuri (Bruce Willis), Lucius (Leon), Seth (Liam Neeson), Spencer (Walter White/Heisenberg), Jesse (Gordon Ramsey), Kabir (TBBT's Raj), Doc (fella from House), Bastian (Zoolander) and Cat (who I think is supposed to be the girl from the Dukes of Hazzard).
Cant wait to get stuck into this lot!

Bulk painted HeroQuest Zombies, kinda happy with the grey flesh.

Horrorclix Freddy

Freddy from the Freddy vs Jason Horrorclix box set that came out a few years ago. I finally got around to re-basing him and other than adding a wash, he is pretty much as out of the box as he comes. Pretty decent skin tone and a creepy pose, though the separate arm that has been glued on is a little on the crap side.

4X4 and Caravan

Two of the UK's biggest discount retailers are stocking these die-cast and plastic sets for the measly sum of £3.99 

 A Hasslefree zombie hunting checking out the caravan , looks like a good place to hole up for the night.

And again checking out the 4x4. The doors and boot open up and its a nice size, scaling up quite well with 28mm miniatures. Overall well worth the money for some nicely detailed vehicles and mobile home based scenery.  

Crooked Dice Student

Lovely new mini from Crooked Dice and thier zombie game range. I intend to have her as the leader of the gangs of kids I have painted and unpainted.

Jason Vorhees

Another Horrorclix figure repainted.

I think I may have a bit of a problem....

I think I may have a little bit of a Resident Evil addiction...I think the first sign was when I bought a Gamecube just to get hold of RE Zero, the remake of RE1 and RE4 rather than wait seven months for it to appear on PS2. Not shown is my dodgey copy of RE3 Nemesis and RE Outbreak File 2 which has gone AWOL.

Still with RE Revelations (went and bought a 3DS for this), Operation Raccoon City and RE 6 out this year, its a good time to be a Resi fan.

So Im a week late for Friday the 13th, oh well. Two Jason Voorhee's miniatures from the Horroclix's line's Freddy Vs Jason box set, as can be seen, Jason seems to have won.

Civilan Survivors

Another of my "Last Night on Earth" miniatures, this time joined by a news reporter from Khurasan Miniatures. The jock is wearing the same colours as the cheerleader I did a few weeks ago, same school?

Something I've been working on in between moving house over January. A collection of Hasslefree, Foundry, Last Night on Earth and em-4 miniatures.

Personailitys include, Dirty Harry, Lara Croft, Snake Plisken, Marv, Nicholas Angel and the cop from the Dawn of the Dead remake.

em-4 Miniatures

Had these sitting in my case for a few months, Warzone/Future War mini's from EM-4, perfect for near future, post apocalyptic or zombie games. For me its the last two, as these are going to form the core of my Fallout and Zombie projects.

Hasslefree Zombie Hunters and Zombies

Hasslefree Miniatures produce some amazing figures, and whats even more amazing they do it all out of their own home, a real Husband and Wife (with help from the kids) business. They have a large figure range for a number of settings, but the biggest is the zombie hunting line.

Here we have Suzi the Japanese schoolgirl armed with a Mac10, Ashley Campbell with her trusty chainsaw and finally Ray with a cricket bat and sawn off shotgun (He looks remarkably like Shawn of the Dead). Off course it doesn't look like these weapons did them much good as they all seem to have zombie counterparts.

The sculpting of these miniatures is first rate with plenty of detail. I painted them with a mix of Games Workshop and Coat d'arms paints.
