Shadowrun Halloweeners
Halloweener gang produced by Ral Partha for Sahdowrun way back in 1991 (I was still in junior school playing on a Commodore 64...wow), that I found the other day still in the blister, though, the blister had been opened and stapled back down and a fifth miniature added, which was nice.

LAF Merchants (Footwear and Arms Dealer)
Two more traders for my post apoc project from Lead Adventure. Been wanting to get around to finishing off the traders set I have, well, only three left to go.

Artemis Class Biomech & Xiao 3.14 Pi
Picked these up the other day from Graham's Wuerkshoppe (who hasn't got a webpage yet) in Pewlaw. While I normally hate skin tones, I like the paleness of the Artemis, however Xiao came out a bit bleh. Still lovely sculpts.

Midlam Miniatures Vampires and Crypts
So I recently discovered Midlam Miniatures had recently opened up a store in Pewlaw, Gateshead, 5 minutes drive from where I work, so I took a trip there last week. What I found was a nice little shop, with clean displays, nice shelves with everything on display and a huge collection of board games and rule books, not to mention the staff were nice and friendly. As a result I came away with a few purchases, mainly the Vampire Horde and two crypts.
The horde is a nice 25/28mm (old style size) 7 figure set for £10, unlike the rest of Midlams range which is fantasy based, these are clearly Gothic Horror, with an old Hammer Horror feels, which is no bad thing.
The crypts come in a his and hers, which is nice, again for £10, and metal, unlike a lot of scenery these days. They are a bit on the small side, the old HeroQuest crypt will dwarf these, still, they are quite nice.
Another nice feature is the lids lift off to reveal the contents, their owners have seen better days.
Bob the vampire heading for a nice days rest.

Imperial-Class Star Destroyers (De Agostini)
Two more Star Destroyers, again from the De Agostini part works magazine that came out a few years back. These things pop up on eBay, and are generally cheap enough and are very well detailed.
The ships come prepainted gray, but I decided to try a little experiment with them. The first ship I coated in black wash, allowed to dry and then dry brushed light gray across it, I think this helps give the ship a more weathered, used look.
The second ship I actually picked out the detail with black wash and again dry brushed with gray. While this still looks good, I think it gives the ship a more newer, just off the production line look.
The task force as it stands, I'm not sure if the Venator is supposed to be the same length as the Imperial class, but it looks good so that's good enough for me.

Venator-Class Star Destroyer
A Venator that originally came from the De Agostini StarWars magazine. Originally it was prepainted, but I gave it a wash of black ink and then a bout of drybushing grey to help bring out the detail.

Talarn and Catachan mortar teams using spare bits and bobs yet again.
The full unit, quite happy with how these have turned out.

Cultists (Conscripts Part 15)
Another six conscripts for the Albion 13th, five made from mixing parts from the Warhammer Flagellant Warband, while the one with the autogun is an old Redemptionist miniature from Necromunda.

More Random Stuff
The cyberpunk girl is from Antenocitis Workshop, while the woman in the red dress and jacket is from Malifaux. These minis have been waiting for paint for years, and I finally got round to them.
