Imperial Tanks

I started painting my Imperial Guard back in February 2009, and in all that time I haven't painted a single tank, I did buy one off ebay back in May 2009, the old style Demolisher, and it has sat for all those years gathering dust, that was until this weekend just gone.
I also picked up one of the new Chimera kits on Saturday, I decided to go with a Heavy Bolter load out.
Now I just need to decide if I want to repaint the "Lemon Ross" (that's what it was called on ebay in 2005 and explains how I got it for about £3) I have, and some how acquire another Chimera turret for the wreck I have sat in the cupboard.

Newbold World Bounty Hunters

Two miniatures from the Newbold World charity shop which has a rotating stock and raises money for Children in Need, a charity in the UK.

I used the new GW paints on these two, and have to say I really like Mephiston Red, I love the way the jackets have come out. They are nice little sculpts and helping a good cause always feels nice.

Jason Vorhees

Another Horrorclix figure repainted.

Colossus and Planet Hulk

Two power houses of the Marvel Universe. Late 80's Colossus, and Hulk from during the Planet Hulk storyline. Both these miniatures come from Marvels Handful of Heroes series of unpainted plastic miniatures. Unfortunately only the larger characters are suitable for gaming in 28mm, as they never bothered to have the figures in any sense of scale, both Nick Fury and Wolverine tower over the Hulk. Shame really as they are nice sculpts and are easier to paint than Heroclixs.

Oh well....

Mad Donna Ulanti

No self respecting Escher gang is complete without Mad Donna backing them up. One of the finest miniatures GW ever put out for the Necromunda range, its a crime its not for sale any more.

Street Thugs

Two em4 Miniature's street thugs. I painted these two back in late Feb, but just couldnt be bothered taking photo's of them until yesterday for some reason.

Imperial Guard Squad

Been a while since I did any work on my IG, but after picking up a few second hand bargains Ive been slightly re-energized. Made use of bits left over from the Catachan command set and a few other bits and bobs.
