Princess Hanako of the Kira- Hachi

Hasslefree's Hanako, I picked her up in a freebie deal at Smoggycon 09, and she had been sat unpainted until about 2 days ago. I tried a new method of painting yellow, starting with a black undercoat I used gray, followed by the yellow's, dark shades through to light, and I really think its worked. Kira- Hachi means killer bee, suitable for her colour scheme I thought.

Fantasy Miniature's

A mixture of miniatures from HeroQuest, and one from the days of Warhammer Roleplay in the mid 80's that really needed some paint.

Caged Fairy

A WIP of Black Scorpions Fairy Catcher. The cage will eventually sit atop the Catchers "banner pole".

HeroQuest Fimir

More Scav's

Four more EM4 scavengers/savages for my gang. Really happy with the way these three turned out, was beginning to despair about the middle two at one point.

Scavengers

A mixed bag of miniatures, some of which have already been shown on the blog. Enjoy.

Noise Marine

Way back in 1991, I picked up my second ever issue of White Dwarf, I was mad for anything HeroQuest related at the time, and I had my eyes opened to the worlds of Games Workshop via the entries from the 91 Golden Demon contest. I was amazed by one miniature, something called a Noise Marine, I decided I would have one, but I never saw one available in the shops. Now 20 years (give or take a month or two) later, I managed to get hold of one in a trade off a guy on the Frothers board. Good things come to those who wait it seems.
