Ive been a fan of Ghost in the Shell since I saw the first movie way back in the early / mid 90's, and I always felt it was a shame no one produced miniatures of the characters, then Hasslefree comes out with its "Capt.Isseki" miniature. I tried to keep the colours as close to the anime as I could, but I wasnt going to attempt to sculpt cyborg eyes on him.
The lady in red is just an old Heroclix mini Ive been meaning to paint for three years or so.
You have seen their "Tomoko" miniature, right? I think it actually came out before their "not-Batou." It's item HFA069 in the "Adventurers" range.
ReplyDeleteYeah bought her first, just the huge gun she came with and the fact she doesnt really have a face is putting me off.
DeleteWonder if anyone (Mega Miniatures are a good bet) makes a Bassett hound to go with Batou there. That dog is by far my favorite part of GITS :)
ReplyDeleteDog? What dog?
DeleteBatou has a dog, as seen here. I think it represents his attempts to maintain a link to his biological roots. Is it not in the earlier/later films?
DeleteNo, its not in the original, Stand Alone Complex or the original manga.
