This is one nicely sculpted plastic minature I picked up 2nd hand, a real treat to paint and I think its a shame GW has scrapped this style of miniature in favour of skull heavy nonsence.
I wish I could get hold of the Wizards of Morcar expansion for cheap...
"Skull heavy nonsense" is an apt description of GW's modern style. This, on the other hand, is a great find, thought the low-fi style is perhaps due to it actually being a game piece for "Advanced Heroquest". HQ minis are a lot of fun to paint and despite their deceptive simplicity can turn out looking really great.
