Immolator No.4

I figured for my fourth Immolator transport I would go for a command theme, and invert the color scheme a bit. Now the problem with red and white, is that red bleeds into the white and turns pink in places, during painting this wasn't a problem at all, until I painted the flamers, and then suddenly parts of the tank started turning pink...Gah!

I was lucky enough to get one of the new Battle Sister miniatures on day of release prior to Christmas. Over all its not a bad miniature, though why they felt the need for multipart resin instead of plastic is beyond me.

Dark Eldar Mutant Things

I think these guys are called Wracks or something, not sure, not bothered, I bought them to be mutant raiders, as a result, I sort of avoided the alien laser weaponry and stuck with blades for the most part.

Reaper Container

So I didn't make any posts in October, I did finish two squads of Death Watch marines, but the black armor just would not photograph, so they ended up looking like black blobs. Anyhow, I got this bad boy through the post last week, a Reaper Bones shipping container, and unlike the rest of the bones line, this thing was cast in hard plastic, not that squishy crap they normally use, so I might be picking up some more of their terrain stuff in the future.

Imperial Assault (The Bespin Gambit) Miniatures

Carrying on with my mission to collect and paint all the Imperial Assault miniatures ever, I picked up the third expansion, The Bespin Gambit, and got to work painting up the contents.

Bespin Security or as they are known in the game, Wing Guard. 

And last but not least, we have another Jedi (there seems to be a lot of these guys who survived Order 66) Davith Elso, codename "Hawkbat"...Hrrm just noticed he reminds me of Nightwing......

Marines

The last of my marines painted up using what was left of my spare parts. This brings my Marine force to a full six troop sections.

Hasslefree Sci-Fi Troopers

Two more troopers for my growing sci-fi squad, a flight crew member and a heavy weapons trooper. I love these guys and want more!

A squad of Space Marines made up from the Horus Heresy board game. Not a fan of the larger bases though.

Raging Heroes Girls With Guns

So like many people I got bit by the Raging Heroes bug and shelled out for a their resin miniatures, what a mistake. After washing them, I struggled to assemble them, undercoated them, only to watch the undercoat fall off, washed them again, undercoated them again, paint fell off once more, in the end I resorted to washing them a third time and then using a Gesso mix to undercoat them. What a pain...and I have 6 more to paint...guh!

Reaper Barmaid

Another old miniature that's been sat in the pile for years. I recently saw a painting club on the Lead Adventure Forums and thought she might be a good addition, so rattled a paint job on her.

Tribal

No idea where this mini comes from, just had it sat on the desk for years, so I took pity on her.

Alliance Smuggler

Another Imperial Assault miniature polished off, though as of recently I've taken a bit of a break from Starwars...or painting anything to be honest, damn you Fallout 4!

Nobz

Some more Ork's, this time Black Reach Nobz. I only have a few more left to paint, and wondering if I should flesh this out into a full sized army or not...

Brown Skinned Ork's

I decided to dig out more of the old Black reach Orks and get them painted up into a sort of codex legal army, though I also picked up an old Rogue Trader Ork with a plasma cannon, which Shootaboyz can't take, so it's going to count as a rocket launcher.

Tusken Raider on a Bantha

The last of the big units I own for Imperial Assault (at least until wave 4 comes out). This is a pretty nifty kit, and comes apart at the head, tail, rider and base, though I stupidly glued the base in place prior to paining. Well, live and learn.

Rebel Troopers (Happy StarWars Day!)

I figured I needed to get something StarWars related done for May the 4th. So I rattled off the Rebel Troopers rather quickly. Though I think I may need another three...hmmm.

Finished off a few more character packs for Imperial Assault, this time the Wookie Warriors and Hired Gun sets.

General Weiss

Yet another Villain pack for Imperial Assault, this time General Weiss in his modified AT-ST equipped with anti tank cannons and a machine gun? What is nice about this pack is the fact that it gives you the parts to build a regular vanilla AT-ST.

StormTroopers

Extra Stormtroopers from the Imperial Assault Villain pack. These chaps have the alternate pose. I painted these rather quickly, so they are a bit of a mess to be honest.

The Imperial Assault madness continues wit what have to be the most loved characters in the entire franchise. Is it just me, or does R2D2 look a little bit to big?

Yet more Imperial Assault Miniatures

Boba Fett, Kayn Somos, and a pair of E-Webb Gunners. Imperial Assault is an interesting beast, each core set gives you enough base miniatures to play with, as well as all the cards and counters to play the special characters, but if you want the models you have to buy the special separate, and unlike a certain other company, they are reasonably priced.

Two more rebel's, this time from the Twin Shadow's expansion set for Imperial Assault.

Albion 13th & Sister's of the Bloody Blade Mustered (2016 edition)

The full might mustered for action....though to be fair I don't think I'll be doing another one of these as it took me three hours to set up and the conservatory is like an oven. What I did find is a bunch of left over miniatures, mostly officers, commissars and 3 snipers with no where to call home.
