I've had this multi part plastic kit sat in a drawer for about five years, found it while digging around for something to build. Took about three hours to build, and was a bit of a pain, you don't get enough of the necessary connectors that it needs on the instructions in the kit, so had to improvise in a number of places up on top. While its fairly sturdy, I don't think it would survive much of a beating...
Yeah, I was going to say it looked kinda flimsy when I first saw it. You could add a few supports to it though, to strengthen it up a fair bit?
